Amy is a godsend to my small advertising agency! I've used her for various graphic design projects since December of 2009. Not only is she a talented graphic designer, but she has great business sense. She is extremely responsive and a skilled project manager, always keeping me apprised of project status and turning projects around in a flash when needed. She has an innate understanding of when to ask for more info and when to intuit the details herself. She has a great sense of how long projects should take and is very good at interpreting the particular style of business into a design. After I send her a project I've noticed that I visibly relax because I know it's going to be done right, done well, and done on time. The world needs more people like Amy and I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to work with her! - Jenny Tallis, JT Marketing

Zion National Park, Utah

I feel like I've been stale in my designs lately. Ok, I lied. I haven't designed anything creative for almost a year now. Instead, I've been taking a lot of pictures of faraway places, like Utah. In effort to combine my photos with deisgn, I'm working on a self-assigned project for the National Park Service (no, they don't know about it).

This first poster is featuring Zion's most traversed hike, and quite possibly one of the most dangerous hikes in the park, Angel's Landing. It's said that only angels could land on the precipice. Did I hike it while I was there? Nope. I hiked a much more difficult, higher, and taxing trail to get a picture of the hike that people bought t-shirts to boast about hiking.

Sketchbook Section

I've added a new "Sketchbook" section to the portfolio area. Randomly I come across layouts that I like, tutorials that I try out, and sometimes, I just need to make something for myself. This new section is a growing collection of images that I've quickly designed.
